Terms of Use for SecretShot: Photo Video Vault

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SecretShot: Photo Video Vault mobile application ("SecretShot" or the "App"), developed by Zorrin Apps ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Overview

SecretShot is a privacy-focused application that allows users to store photos and videos locally on their device, protected by a PIN code.

Your private media content is stored on-device. The App does not provide cloud storage or external backup services. Some limited analytics, attribution, subscription, and device data may be processed through Apple and AppsFlyer as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. App Functionality

SecretShot provides tools to:

• Store and organize photos and videos within the app
• Protect access using a PIN code and a Recovery Key
• Customize lock screen styles, such as calculator or puzzle-style interfaces
• Capture media using the built-in camera
• Import media from the device Photo Library
• Mark media as favorites for quick access
• Optionally detect failed unlock attempts and capture intruder photos, known as Hack Monitoring
• Optionally lock the app instantly via a button or face-down device detection, known as Quick Hide

The App is intended for personal use only.

3. Permissions

The App may request access to the following:

Camera

Used to:

• Capture photos and videos inside the App
• Optionally capture a photo after failed unlock attempts, if enabled by the user

Microphone

Used to:

• Record audio when capturing videos inside the App

Photo Library

Used to:

• Import photos and videos into the App
• Optionally remove original files after import, if enabled by the user

Tracking

Used to:

• Measure advertising campaign performance
• Support attribution and analytics through AppsFlyer
• Improve the App experience

Private media remains stored locally on your device. Tracking permission is controlled by iOS App Tracking Transparency settings.

4. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining access to your App.

• You must keep your PIN secure
• You must safely store your Recovery Key

Your Recovery Key is generated once during initial setup. It cannot be regenerated, reset, or recovered by us or any third party.

If your PIN and Recovery Key are both lost, your stored data will become permanently inaccessible.

SecretShot does not provide external recovery services.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your private media content is stored locally on your device. SecretShot does not provide cloud storage for your photos or videos. Some limited app, device, subscription, attribution, and usage data may be processed by Apple and AppsFlyer as described in the Privacy Policy.

SecretShot does not:

• Provide cloud backups for your photos or videos
• Access your private media content outside of the app's intended functionality
• Upload your photos, videos, PIN, Recovery Key, or the contents of Hack Monitoring photos to AppsFlyer

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data if needed.

6. Privacy and Data Processing

SecretShot is designed so your photos and videos remain on your device and are not uploaded to us.

The App may process limited app, device, subscription, attribution, and usage data through Apple and AppsFlyer for App Store services, subscriptions, analytics, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and app improvement.

Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data may be processed, why it is processed, and what choices you have.

7. Subscriptions

Some features of the App may require a subscription.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings

Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change.

Subscription events may be used for analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, and app functionality as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Third Party Services

The App may use third-party services, including Apple services and AppsFlyer, to support subscriptions, attribution, analytics, advertising measurement, fraud prevention, and app improvement.

These services may process limited app, device, subscription, and usage data according to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the independent practices of third-party services, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Apple EULA

These Terms of Use supplement Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) and do not replace it. This App is licensed, not sold, to you, and your use of the App is also subject to the Apple Standard EULA.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's terms shall prevail.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, icons, and visual elements, is the property of Zorrin Apps and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App or any part of it.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for:

• Illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Storing or distributing unlawful content
• Violating applicable laws or regulations

12. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Data stored locally on your device is not affected by termination of the license.

13. Limitation of Liability

SecretShot is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of access to your data
• Data loss due to device issues, deletion, or user actions
• Misuse of the App
• Third-party service availability or processing outside our reasonable control

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
