Analytics, Attribution, and Advertising Measurement
SecretShot uses AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution and analytics provider, to help us understand how users discover the App, measure advertising campaign performance, analyze feature usage, prevent fraud, and improve the App experience.
Depending on your device settings, consent choices, and AppsFlyer configuration, AppsFlyer may process information such as:
- Device identifiers, including IDFA when permitted by App Tracking Transparency and other app or device identifiers used for attribution and analytics
- Install, launch, session, and attribution information
- Product interaction events, such as onboarding completion, paywall views, first media import, feature usage, settings changes, PIN setup status, Quick Hide usage, Hack Monitoring status, and similar app interaction events
- Subscription-related events, such as trial start, subscription purchase, product identifier, price, currency, transaction identifier, subscription period, transaction reason, and expiration date
We do not send your photos, videos, PIN, Recovery Key, or the contents of Hack Monitoring photos to AppsFlyer.
AppsFlyer may process this data on our behalf and may also use it according to its own service terms and privacy documentation. You can learn more in the AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy.
App Tracking Transparency
On iOS, SecretShot may ask for permission to track activity across apps and websites owned by other companies using Apple App Tracking Transparency.
If you allow tracking, SecretShot and AppsFlyer may use device identifiers such as IDFA for advertising attribution, advertising measurement, analytics, and related purposes.
If you ask the App not to track, SecretShot will not access the IDFA for tracking. Some limited analytics, attribution, fraud prevention, subscription event measurement, and SKAdNetwork measurement may still occur without using IDFA.
You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings.
